Observation Tower

The 30-foot tall red velvet drapes that surround the Los Angeles City Hall Observation Tower have received some long overdue repairs and general cleaning.

The beautiful drapes that adorn the room have collected plenty of dust over the years, so it was time to make them as good as new again! Because of their height, special scaffolding had to be built on site while the room was not in use.

Project Restore reached out to the contractor that originally designed and installed the drapes and hired them to manually remove and clean each one of the panels, as well as rebuild the operating mechanisms. We are thrilled that this week-long project has been accomplished! We encourage you to stop by the observation deck and also experience the 360 degrees of breathtaking views.
